Align Pilates Ladder Barrel RC

The Align Pilates Ladder Barrel RC is a full size ladder barrel built for studio repertoire. RC stands for Rapid Change: two quick release levers let the instructor slide the barrel toward or away from the ladder and lock it again in seconds.

The barrel travels through 12 inches (31 cm) of adjustment, and two removable padded standing boards come in the box, so shorter and taller clients can both be set up correctly.

This revision has a smaller barrel diameter and a revised arc that sits closer to classical proportions, with an extra 5 mm of EVA padding on the barrel and a zip on padded rung cover for the tops of the feet.

Features

Rapid Change barrel
Lift both quick release levers, slide the barrel forward or back, then press the levers down to lock it. No tools are needed between clients.

12 inches of adjustment
The barrel moves through 31 cm of travel, so the distance to the ladder can be set for each body and exercise.

Classical barrel proportions
A smaller diameter barrel and revised arc follow classical dimensions, and an extra 5 mm of EVA padding softens the upholstered top.

Standing boards included
Two padded boards, one flat and one upright, slot in or lift out so clients of different heights can reach the barrel comfortably. Taller clients may prefer to work without them.

Maple rungs and padded cover
Four solid maple rungs form the ladder, and a zip on padded cover fits any rung to cushion the tops of the feet.

Wheels and levelling feet
Rear wheels help move the barrel around the studio, and adjustable feet level the frame so the barrel slides smoothly.

Installation

Build the barrel
Lay the side panels on a soft surface, bolt them to the barrel top and fit the two barrel connecting poles before fully tightening.

Mount it on the frame
Slide the barrel over the base frame, line the side panel holes up with the sliders and bolt through from both sides.

Fit the ladder
Insert the rungs and top pole into the uprights, then bolt the ladder to the base frame with the Allen key supplied.

Level and check
Use a spirit level and the adjustable feet to set the frame flat in both directions, then fit the standing boards. Two people make the lift onto the frame easier.

Warranty, Shipping and Returns

Align-Pilates warrants its equipment against manufacturer's defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner. Terms vary by product and by how the equipment is used, so ask us for the exact cover on this item before you order and we will confirm it in writing. Normal wear, misuse, unauthorised modification and cosmetic damage are not covered, and the maintenance guidance in the manual needs to be followed.

Shipping
Delivery is free anywhere in the United States. When the item is in stock, Align-Pilates ships it within two business days of confirmation. Large equipment is strapped to a pallet and moved by freight carrier, who will call ahead to book a delivery window; the handover is curbside, so line up a second person to help carry it in. Allow 1 to 3 weeks from order to delivery, and we forward tracking once the shipment is collected.

Check before you sign
Look over each carton when it arrives. Record any damage on the delivery paperwork, take photos and let us know within 48 hours.

Returns
Align-Pilates does not accept returns on reformers, cadillacs, chairs or ladder barrels, so this is a final sale once dispatched. We recommend confirming dimensions, ceiling height and access before ordering. Damaged, defective or incorrect deliveries reported within 48 hours are put right with the manufacturer, and orders can be cancelled without charge until they leave the warehouse.
